Take once or twice per week an oily bath. A bath containing a mineral oil. Do not use bubble baths and, do not shower excessively. Ocean baths are an excellent alternative.
Unfortunately many topical medications, including products containing steroids, cortisones or hormones are used to treat cases of eczema and to relieve severe itching.
Products containing steroids, cortisones, hormones or other harsh chemicals can cause side effects or be the cause of the eczema or dermatitis.
Do not use products containing steroids, cortisones or hormones for such sensitive parts of your body as the groin, arm pits, the face or when the area is infected (herpes simplex virus) etc.
Eczema usually requires long-term treatment or "maintenance" and you therefore should prefer to use other topical, natural and safe, products such as PsoriaLess®, which you can use safely also on a long term basis.
You can use PsoriaLess® safely and on a long-term basis. PsoriaLess® can also be safely used in children.
Medications containing steroids, cortisones or hormones may inflict or extend infections (herpes simplex virus).
Test or investigate for food or chemical hypersensitivity. Contact sensitivities are: cosmetics, hair dyes, shampoos, fragrances, insecticides, aerosol allergens (such as polishes), nasal sprays, synthetic resins, (ear) rings (nickel allergy), toothpastes, salicylate-rich foods, deodorants, detergents, soaps, plastics or dyestuffs, elastics, elastoplasts, lanolin derivatives, glues (which maybe present in your shoes!).
Common foods that may precipitate an adverse skin reaction are milk, wheat and yeast, benzoates, tartrazine and aspirin containing foods.
Do not scratch and keep your fingernails short. You will extend the affected area by scratching and, subsequently, extend the infection (herpes simplex virus).
Use PsoriaLess® to also control the itching.
Wear non-irritating clothing. Cotton as an ideal clothing material for eczema sufferers is recommended.
Do not wear tight clothing.
Chronic eczema and the severity of the condition seem to correlate with the extent of a stomach hydrochloric acid deficiency. This decrease in HCl is associated with vitamin B group deficiency (supplementation with Hydrozyme and HGF usually results in an improvement). Take six to eight capsules of evening primrose oil per day or supplement with GLA/EFA and eat fish a few times per week.
PsoriaLess® contains important GLA's and is made to treat eczema, effectively.
Prevent stress.
Do not smoke. Nicotine has an adverse effect on some forms of eczema such as Seborrheic dermatitis.
In case you experience severe itching with your eczema, do apply Natural PsoriaLess® to control the itching, effectively.
Take oily (mineral oils), or oatmeal or starch (laundry starch) and soda (baking soda) baths.
Do not use lotions, moisturizers containing alcohol, instead use PsoriaLess®.
Increase the humidity level of your surroundings, if you can. Keep room temperatures cool.
